having a moment...

Update-haven't worked out since spring break when my youngest had to have her wisdom teeth out.  Getting a little flabby here and I am sure my girlfriend thinks I am ignoring her. Thankfully her life is busier than mine so maybe she hasn't noticed that I haven't been slinking in at 6 am to dance a little jig alongside her.

In September I had a minor rear-ender (my end was the one to get reared) and I suffered a moderate whiplash.  However, I think my body hates me as I am not fixed yet.  My left shoulder hurts today as I had to have dye shot into the joint so that the MRI would show everything wrong with it, hopefully.  They did an MRI on my neck also.  Now it is just the waiting game for when I see the doctor again to find out the verdict.

I bought a quilt kit from Keepsake Quilting to make for my friend, Nancy.  The pattern/kit and fabric line is called In Bloom.  The flowers are tulips, pansies and primroses.  The colors are purple, burgundy, green, and black background. Nancy loves flowers and the tulips and pansies are just lovely. I am hurriedly trying to get this quilt done so it can be quilted and given to her as she has brain cancer and isn't fairing well.  The upshot is, I had an oops and had to order two replacement pieces of the kit in order to finish the quilt.  They are still not here.  At least I can work on what is here while I am waiting. Since my sewing room is only halfway dug out (it is the Black Hole) I am sewing at the house of another friend of mine.

I have a little more time given to me as I am not having to get food to Nancy and her husband tonight as she is now in a facility.

I told my husband I need to have a supply of quilts done just for this purpose so that they are ready and not waiting for me to get them done.
